How do i setup the Drew's Doser pump

I bought a Drew's doser and i still don't understand how to hook it up ?

I placed the left tube into a jug with water for testing , and the right side tube into a empty bottle. when i turned on the doser the tubing on left came apart .

anyone ??? I'm not sure how to work it ? Do i need an air pump ?

The tubing sticking out from white casing on the left side got pulled too far into the rotor. Pull that down so that you can plug the loose rubber sleeve back in. I would then use a zip tie to make sure it's fastened tight so this won't happen again.

1. take the left side hose and put into bottle with solution such as ALK, and then the
2. Right side hose into the sump .
Is that how it works ? or do i need some type air pump
how does the doser bring up the soultion

Im pretty sure the left side goes into the solution and the right side to sump. It takes a while for the liquid to travel up the tubing. Also the rollers in the dosing pump is what moves the liquid and keeps it there when turned off.

That's correct. You don't need an air pump. You should however hook it up to a timer so that you are dosing the same amount each day, ideally spread out to a few times each day.

if you are running two of them you should also just test them first to make sure they are both putting out the same amount of liquid.
