He is like the Tyree of chalices, but worse. When he thinks of a clever name for a chalice people pay $500-$1000 for it.

I heard about him right before the swap. How can he be like Tyree? Is he well known?

Becoming very well known, as this chalice craze gets more and more obscene.

He is like Tyree in that if you have a really nice chalice and give him a piece and he names it. It is instantly worth a bunch of money and the chalice addicts eat it up.

It is pretty bad now, you see chalice packs selling for thousands of dollars on other reef sites.

I personally would never spend 350$ let alone 1000$ for any 1 frag but there are people doing so and they think they are getting a good deal!!! That I cant understand.I have bought about 350$ in frag"S" at swap time but left with a full cooler. :splitspin At least we have some sensible members on this site that won't fuel the insanity. Like Wes mentioned there are chalice packs for sale in the thousands(7k, 12k and lately 5k) on OTHER Reef sites and idiots are posting OMG "What a great price!" I want some of whatever they are smoking!:lol2:
Nelson good luck with your search but unfortunately it might be about 5 years before you see any change in price :irked:
