give me your imput i know i need sps mark gave me a frag of a orange cape ive had it under t5 for about a month maybe more and dont c a change in growth mark also gave me a frag of monti thats alive but not growing i dose calcium what should i do also i lost my salifert needle the skinny one with the tip if anyone in the bx has a extra please let me know i will pick up inbox me thanks i gotta start checking my levels i havent done that for months just constant water changes and lots of feeding lol

magnesium, alk, and flow. sounds like it's more of a magnesium issue if your colors are okay but flow will definitely influence not only growth but growth form. the cap should be growing quickly. dont know what acro you have but if you give me those 2 clowns, ill swap it out for a larger acro so at least it'll look like its growing.

actually lookin at your pics again..you definitely need more flow unless you turned off the pumps. that softy should be swaying rapidly and leathers/gorgonians live for flow. the gorgonian cant shake off the detritus (sp?) alone and relies on the flow to brush his shoulders off...

how long has the tank been up? how many bulbs does the fixture have?
you should test alk, cal., mag., phos., nitrate, ph., salinity and temp. these are some of the basic parameters a reefer should know by heart.....at least reef geeks like me....lol.
if you're thinking sps then definitely a lot more flow. and start moving those softies down from the top.
water changes are good but test those parameters. keep us posted.

the gorgs are actually doing good they weren't open at the time but the arms extend like half an inch each it was just a bad moment for them lol there camera shy
