Is it okay to leave a tank on its side for a few days?

I am going to strip the paint from my stand tomorrow and I was wondering if it is okay for me to leave my tank on its side while I strip, stain, and poly the stand? I have to allow the tank to dry after I strip it for at least 24 hours then I can put on the first coat of stain and a second coat the following day then I would polyurethane. Lets say tops one week, would it be okay to leave my tank on its side because it is a bottom drilled tank.
