so my friend has a bunch of dry rock that has been sitting outside of his house for a longgggggggggggg time but in trash bins. so my question is are they still good to use? yea i know it will cause a cycle. so whats your opinion!

dont just bleach them and throw them in your tank, but yes you can bleach the rocks, let them dry and then cure them (or some variation on that) fwiw, i think marcorocks uses muriatic acid to clean their rocks.

thanks for the help! so basically i can just clean it off (like get the dust/dirt off) and throw it in my tank to cycle (this is going into a new tank so i will have to go through a cycle anyways)
