Not sure if that link will work but I saw the coolest thing at Costco. It's a giant DI filter that I guess you use to make your car all shiny or something. Either way, it's a giant friking DI system with dual inline tds meters, and it's like 300 bucks! I'm thinking this might make large water changes much less of a pain...

you will still need a RO and i can only imagine how much that would cost and the cost to replace those filters

370 + tax, filters are most likely half what the price of the filter is, and you need a RO =P

i've been running for years now with just carbon and di. also the containers are refillable, so you could just buy bulk GFO. since it looks like the cannisters are plumbed inline you could even run both carbon and phos at 4 GPM.

we will have to see. between the 50 gallon rubbermaid, the scooter sittign in the living room, and the fish tank, I might have already burned up my goodwill. i doubt my fiancee will be very happy with the idea of a giant DI unit in the kitchen.
