There is a xp2000 in the marketplace now, He purchased it from Russ 6 days ago.

If you don't need it in the sump saver design you can get the regular SRO XP2000 cone internal for about $400 new. I have one and it does an awesome job. I ordered mine from Reef Specialty who is a vendor on RC, I'm sure one of MR's vendors can get you one.

russ hooks every one up real good. they even have the layaway program if you cannot afford it in one shot which is amazing. who else has that? all i know of is saltwater critters. and on their site, if you dont see the octopus you want, go to reef octopus website and he can order anyone you want too. just PM him and he can give you a quote on any octopus skimmer...

they do have a place where jim is, but i live closer to russ and he deals with all the online shipping and i just call him and go to his house and hand pick out some goodies. for fish and corals, i dont know about currently, but at the frag swaps they bring stuff and have a live section on their site, but i use russ at saltwater critters primairly for all my product needs because his prices are amazing. and for skimmers, like i said just ask aout one and he can order it and quote you a price.

OK Thanks Ryan I thought he was a storefront so he doesn't keep the skimmers at his house either. When you decide the skimmer you want he orders it from them and then he ships it to you right? Also does he sell the hang-ons or am I mixing up companies? I use the Aqua-c hang-on skimmer because I heard they were the best,but I keep hearing more and more about the octopus..now I'm not sure whos the best?

jim and russ own saltwater critters. jims place, i dont remember the location, but believe he has something of a store front or whatever with live stock and products, but not entirely sure because like i said he lives far from me i think more towards the city area. im north west jersey so its a trip for me. Russ on the other hand, the other half owner, lives in chester NY and that is about 15-20 minutes from my house. he does most the shipping i believe. he has the products only at his house. he will ship anything to you and next day it will be at your house. russ also allows you to give him a heads up and call him and stop by his place and pick out some products, but its not a store front. i personally though go to russ place because russ lives close to me and russ is a great guy to just talk to and get advice. he never steers you wrong. dont get me wrong, i guarentee jim is exactly the same and a awesome smart guy that will hook you up, but ive never met jim and is located farther away when russ is only 15 minutes. i go to his place about once a week for the past 2 months or so.
but the skimmer thing. they can get most reef octopus skimmers. what you could do is go on reef octopus web site, find a skimmer, and PM either russ (masterswimmer) or jim (houseoflaughter) and they can get a quote for you and order it. and like i said, if you cannot afford it, you can set something up with every week give him money until you pay for whatever you want. pretty much like any other layaway would like stores or malls.

My buddy went to Russ house last week. He is fully stocked with all the dry good you could ever need in this hobby. Jim keeps all the Coral, Frags and fish. Russ has most skimmer in stock, Right now you cant get a bermuda aquatics 5c skimmer anywhere.We looked as far as texas. They all say they are on the way, but they never come. Russ had it and shipped it to him that night. If you need something fast, call Russ he will make it happen every time
