RBTA....Is it safe to put one into a tank that has just finished cycling? Or do I need to have a well established tank? As far as lighting I have 96 Cree xre 3 watt LEDs. I want to add the rbta first so I can place everything else around it once it finds a spot it likes.

dont think you are ready for an anemone yet! i had to wait till february to get mine and my tank started last october!

It's best that you work out all the kinks in your tank first. let the tank finish cycling and let it get established first. you will be rewarded with a healthier RBTA as a results.

IME you should wait. Tried an rbta at month 4 and it did terrible. I thought bc my gbta was thriving why not rbta. I was wrong. It is now almost month 8 and my rbta is finally getting it's color back and opening up again after looking like it was dead a week after I got it.

I would wait at least 6 mo until the tank stabilizes. A year is better and more recommended.

nah, my gbta outgrew my tank so we traded for the smaller rbta.
