Well after looking at sharks swim back and fourth it got borring.... I always thought reef was to hard and l loved aggresive fish. but one day I was on a job in NYC were there was a 650 reef with tini fish then my heart changed like that and I had to beat the hard hard talk and try myself, Yes I lost a ton of money at start because I did not know about MR and other sites so I listened to my spuid LFS.

ill say start with a big tank avoid the up grades ahhhhh head ache.......i personally dont like leds almost tryed them all "companys" mh is the way to go 250 watt 400 watt for coral growth....also get an over rated skimmer for ur tank incase u do upgrade u can still use it...i also think over skimming ur tank is bullshuckssss.....but only my opinion.....also dont be cheap on eq u will regret it.....n a sec job isnt bad advice lol..

I set up my first marine tank in 2000. Large tanks = a large wallet. My advice is to see as many setups as possible and ask the owners how they do it. And know exactly what you want, reef or fish only before you start the setup.
