got lucky with a free giveaway....3 fish, nice size. one of them a cream angel ablout 5 to 6 inches. added all three to the tank, and all was good. yesterday i got a great deal from the name your own price extravaganza on a harlequin tusk (australian). one of my most desired fish. so the angel was picking at him all night. my blonde naso was hiding somewhere, then this morning, the naso was nowhere to be found. found him dead later :grumpy:and the angel was chasing the harlequin all around. the angel has to go! i caught him and put him in the sump. my question is...is there anyway to take out an aggressive fish like that, leave them out for a while, rearrange the rocks, and then later add the fish back with no problems?

Sometimes! rearranging the rockwork, can help...but, be ready to remove the aggressor...if he's already out, might be better to trade him , now.

thats what i was thinking. i will probably take him to the LFS tomorrow. never traded a fish before is it like trading a car. worth 100 they give me 20?
Yes...just depends on mileage and body work...better to run a 'fish fax', first!

try to trade for something of 'equal' value/credit...who is your LFS?

I agree with the above statements. I pushed my luck too far the other day and another one bite the floor and i have a mesh cover.

i have the same problem. I have a Queen angle that's 6" and a harl. tusk with several other fish in a 125 with rock. The Queen constantly picks on the tusk. It won't go after my blue triggers, marron clown. I have to remove the queen rearrange the rock and let the queen sit out for 2 weeks, so all the other fish claimed their own spots. i then added the queen back into the tank. The is a little less chasing of the tusk from the queen, but she still does it once in a while.
