I think my anenome is dead

This morning I woke up to find my anemone stuck in my power head. After pulling it out, i put it on the live rock and it wasn't doing too well. The mouth is really open and it has a tear in its ring of stingers. However, it did attach to the rock, like when i poked it with a stick it didnt just fly away.

So is this still alive or no?

The fact that it attached itself to a rock is a positive BUT you need to keep a really close eye on it as it can wipe out your tank if it doesn't make it.

I smelled it and it didn't smell like death so I'm hopeful it lives. I saw it finally come out of a cave late last night and now this happens

it happened to me a few times with a gbta and a rbta. If looks like it will make it. You should do a water change and pick up any peaces of it that on the sand bed. Mine recovered in about a months time. However, the second time it didnt make it.

yeah they want their home asap haha but anemone is fine now

If it happens again dont pull it out becasue that can kill it from the stress, I just shut it off and let it come out on its own. Pics look like its going to make it
