reef to reptiles has a really nice one.. had it for abt 2 weeks now.. its abt 10in.

First of all dude there is no such thing as a "small" shark. Any shark will get several feet. What type of tank are planning on putting this monster of the see in? Like seriously man 1000 gal tank BARE MINIMUM is the only realistic thing for long term captivity and happiness. So if it's not at least 1000 gallons then leave the sharks in the ocean.

Ya ,but a have more than one and one has nutn in it ,a baby would live for a lil bit till it gets too big ,ive done it before,and I know how big they get

Ok well sorry to say but that's just plain irresponsible. That's like " I'll have a baby because they're cute but when it's time to potty train I'll give it up for adoption" If you can't keep an animal for its entire life span and keep it happy then don't get it.

please dont do it. 75 gallon tank for a shark. go live in your closet for a few months, then you can buy a shark. see how the shark will feel.
i remember flipping out on my buddy for buying a reef shark for his 155 bow and even his 155 is way to small. just because it does not look big in the tank, does not mean its comfortable. most sharks die because they simply do NOT eat anything, mainly because they are not happy. you think its going to be happy in a 75 gallon tank? i think its a waist of money, even if you think its "cool' to own a shark, which is probably why your getting one. i understand, and i felt the same way, i wish i could have one too, but ill never buy one unless i had a 600+ gallon tank. instead, i set up a really cool aggressive tank. angler, trigger, lion, scorpion fish, toadfish, ect... they at least wont outgrow a 75 like a shark would....

Do you have a larger home set up for the shark? Youre not keeping it more than a month right? If you cant answer yes to both than you shouldnt do it. Tanks big enough to house sharks comfortably are few and far between. Ones with extra room for another shark are even harder to find. Just quit while youre ahead and havent killed any sharks...

I have a 4' nurse sharks. I bought when i was stupid and young. After learning a bunch in this hobby over 13 years i would never do it again. Look below at my signiture of my shark tank. Like everyone says what do you do when it gets big? Thank god for me i find good deals on large tanks because right now me and my brother are on the hunt for a 16' long tank for them. No one wants them when they get big!!!!

they should just make buying sharks illegal.....if you want to see a shark go to an aquarium were they are properly takin care of......

Id say stay away unless u got a 180g or bigger. For a black tip id say atleast minimum 500g

75 gallons is to small for a shark. If you are interested in a shark there are many species of sharks that stay around 2ft and don't need a bare minimum of a 1000 gallons. The nurse sharks jarret has are very large sharks. The short tail nurse grows to about 2.5 ft. There are also smaller species of catsharks, bamboo and eppis. You need to worry more about the footprint then the gallons. Sharks have breed in tanks as small as 120 gallons. I wouldn't recommend a shark in a 120 but just saying its been done.
