What are all the sites available for buying corals/livestock

Living in SI, without a car, corals and livestock buying requires a journey.

Listing all the sites would help me know of what we got on the internet.

Coral sites, livestock sites, etc.

Reefhotspot has been down for a while...and I heard that they were sold to someone in Arizona...would not trust them, yet!


The MR vendors can get just about anything you need...alot of the online stores have 'pretty pics', but they don't always have everything in stock (that they say they do)...when you order, they just run down to the importers at LAX to fill your order... there is no 'special' treatment or QT!

yeah but its difficult to travel to MR vendors. If only they had free shipping.

Most are in queens which is decently far.

I guess your order has to be worthwhile for vendors to do free shipping also because I was told the toll of SI is VERY high.

Isn't online order requires Next Day Air which may be even higher than local vendor delivery charge? I heard some mr vendor said about $13 delivery charge or so.

yeah, gas and toll is what keeps everybody away from staten island :grumpy:

Well hopefully a good vendor will pop up in SI, the Staten Island population has been having a boom lately.

According to their site, ALD does free shipping for orders over $200.00. They're located in Williamsburg. Knowing Alex, he'd *probably* just drive the order over to you, if it's lrage enough, but still under the $200.00 mark.
