Help Quick!!!! It's hatching!!!!!!!!

I had a Mexican turbo that a hermit killed for it's shell. That is not the problem. The hermit abandoned the shell right in front of the tank where I can clearly see it. I noticed a very strange growth like a cocoon on the shell. Orange-ish in color with a striped red pattern. Well, it looks like it is about to hatch. I believe I can see antennae. However, I am sure it was also excreting from there as well. I am trying to figure out how to post a pic from my EVO. I have seen some frwaky stuff in this tank but I am at a loss with this one. Help!!!!!!!!

It is not a vermetid snail either. I have those in there. This is huge, like an inch long.

Maybe it is a variety of one, I can see a stringy substance that retracts with some floating food on it. How do I get rid of these things without losing my CUC??????

OK, so I still have A LOT to learn. Do I get rid of it?? No coral in tank yet. I am waiting for my LEDs. I had read that they might be a bother. How do I control these?? I have dozens of the smaller ones in the tank on the LR. Any predators for these things? Not very nice to look at IMHO.

CBB would probably eat them. I'm sure there are lots of other fish that would too. IMO they're pretty neat and add to the biodiveristy of the tank. Why get rid of it?
