What the heck are these??

Can someone tell me what these "branches" are and why they keep getting longer and spreading? Should i take them out? I know the orange guy in the middle is some sort of worm thing, i see him pop out once in a while.

And what kind of flatworm is this?

Are the branches stony? Like sps? Looks like some sps coral to me, But I'm no sps pro

If its wavy with the current def type of macro algae +1 on the kelpy but if not might be sponge never seen black sponges though, but i dont see it being a problem if not a good clean up crew will take care of it if it starts to get out of control

Like Chief posted, they're black/gray sponge. I have them in my tank and the only problem that they cause is if they touch another coral, as they will grow on to it which covers up the coral causing that part to die. Otherwise they're safe and can easily be removed if needed.

Thanks a lot guys. It seems to be harming the only coral its touching so i'll move it tonight.
