Tang?

This was sent to me from Liveaquaria, it was supposed to be a naso tang but it looks nothing like it to me. Any ideas what i've got here?

It is a Naso tang alright. The white marks are stress marks. They will go away once the fish gets settled.

Looks like a small Juv, the white spots are common in a Juv.

He's stressed but definitely a naso, his true colors will be back just let him get comfortable in his new home, if he's eating then he'll be just fine

To be honest he really looks cool like that he looks like a RARE naso tang =)

+1 the fish is super stressed...take ur time acclimate him for atleast 2 hours...he will gain his color back in no time...good luck nice fish looks healthy

thanks for the help everyone and i did take my time to acclimate him just over 2 hours just to be safe and i had the time so why not...he does look really cool and i kinda want him to stay like this...he is eating now first day no but i expected that. good swimmer the whole 9, great fish overall and thanks again everyone i will post more pics of my tank soon.

Yes you have a naso thats stressed and pissed... He will be fine as long as he is eating. He will get his nice shiny silver body back.
