White things attached to glass in sump?

These are attached to the glass in my sump they don't appear to be alive as I don't see them moving? And they seem to only be in a high flow area ie, in between my bubble trap glass and some in my skimmer area.

Just a thought: Some look like colonial hydroids (pineapple looking ones) but rest don't. Try looking those up and compare what you see. I had them in my tank last year, I removed the rock i saw them on.

You almost got it- they are pineapple sponges (sorry, couldn't find a proper latin name) and are harmless filter feeders.
