Crab id

I spotted a crab in my tank it was black with black claws went to get camera it was gone no white tips on claws is that an adult emerald crab it wasn't hairy not a gorillacrab

I've always read that black claws= not good! I'd try my best to try and catch it with a trap just to be on the safe side

Sounds like a adult emerald crab. I have a few emerald crabs in my tank. One is black. They were sold to me as emerald crabs.
