Is this snail reef safe?

Found him on my glass tonight.. little guy, is it a sundial? almost looks like a baby turbo.

How small is it? I once had an "outbreak" of tiny snails, looking just like miniature trochus, only about 5mm across. I sent a few to Ron Shimek. I forgot his identification, but he said they were perfectly good snails to have. Eventually they disappeared.

size of my pinky nail.. haha real small half the size of a dime.

That's bigger than my snails were. probably a small Trochus.
