Is this guy safe? Found him in my live rock.. sorry for the crappy pic, my phone sucks. I've separated him for now

Agree looks like a gorilla crab. I've had gorilla Crabs but they never really did any damage to anything. I've read they may develop a taste for zoas. But I thought some crabs were beneficial such as acro crabs or pompoms...

Most crabs are opportunistic feeders/omnivores and when scavenging for food is not working out, they will pick at healthy corals. Porcelain anemone crabs which are filter feeders are more or less on the safe side, i think.
