What is this thing?

I'm going to have to post pics when I get on my computer but the best explanation I have for it is it looked like a big snail with no shell. It was just crawling on the rock and I took it out with a net and broke my favorite large green monti cap in half in the process. It curled up into a ball and I just threw it away because it thought it was a flatworm or something but then I looked them up and this thing was much larger then what I see in the pictures online and didn't have the same color or anything. I've never seen one before and can't figure out where I could have came from. All of the coral in my tank has been treated before going in and when I started that tank it was with all dry rock so I have no idea where this came from in the first place.

Yes it did look kind of like that. The pics from that link aren't that great to be certain but it does look like it.

Now that i'm on my computer with a bigger screen I am able to see those pictures better and I actually think that is it. Thanks. Now I am kind of sad I removed it from the tank as the link says its herbivorous and feeds on algae.

Yea if it was one it's great to have in the tank.. chances are there's more than that one. I have a few in my tank and sometimes days wold go by without me seeing any
