Cotton on Cowfish

Ich? Velvet? What is it? Yellow tang, clowns, chromis, etc seems fine. Only seem to affect the fins of the cowfish.

Could be ich. The cowfish may be keeping it in check. Could be bacterial. Keep a close watch. Look for any changes.

are those white spots on its body part of its pattern or are those what you're asking about too? If they are not part of its pattern then I'd say it is ich.

Jan, the white spots on body is pattern... only fin is affected..After doing more research, I'm leaning towards a Lymphocystis infection.. Ich is a possibility but not affecting the other fishes...

Could very well be. Lymph has been showing up for months. I had a genicanthus with the worse case I've ever seen. Good call.
