I saw this thing in my reef last night, and for the life of me I cannot figure out what it is. It went back inside the rock.
I am hoping that one of you may be able to tell me what it is.

I went back, and checked to make sure it wasn't a "Fuzzy Chiton", or a "Limpet" since I purchased those, and forgot what they looked like. But nope it isn't that.

Awi, did you look up Abolone snail? The are pretty much the same thing as a stometella but get bigger

All abolones I ever had in my tanks never looked like the one pictured in the above pix.
BTW, that thing did not just go into the rock works. It literally went into a hole in the very rock you see it on.

How about this one? Around the edges of echinata I saw those tentacle looking things. Any idea what those are?

Hi Tom, the fish are in the 20.;) The 155 is running fishless until May 30.

Yes Kat, I'm sure there were more than one. Still they appear not to be so tiny as the ones I've seen in the past as those tentacles have to be more than a 1/4" in length.
