I've taken around a half dozen of these out of my tank in the last 24 hours. Originally i thought it was a worm. Now i think its a polyp eating nudi. Can someone confirm and give me a more accurate name so i can research how to get rid of them?

Recently a full rock of glove polyps went the way of the dodo. Didnt know what it was, thought it was lighting. After it got down to only a few stragglers i noticed a bunch of these nudis inside the polyps (head completely gone) with only the tail being exposed from what remained of the stalk. This morning i took the whole rock and chucked it into a bin in the garage.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Most Nudis are wider and more colorful than your little guy there.
He almost appears more snail- like..

I have not been able to ID him on any of the sites I use for worm/nudi ID's.

Could he have possibly been eating algae off the frag?

The vanishing glove polyps might not have been due to this guy..in some tanks they simply will not live (I personally have never had any luck with them and they waste away quickly in my tank).
