ID and treatment help...

Hey all, I've notice this starting to interfere with one of my zoas. It's either some kind of sponge or bacteria from what I've read. Hoping to get a positive ID and some treatment options.

I'm currently thinking of doing a peroxide dip. Thanks in advance.

It's a harmless sponge. Just lightly brush it off with a soft bristle toothbrush. You can buy them at a dollar store for something like 5 for a buck.

Lee, how are the zoos doing now? I had a zoo colony, most disappeared within a matter of days. It looks similar to yours, but I expect another culprit. For me it turns out to be zoanthid eating nudibranches. I was able to save 20+ polyps after several fw dips. Of course I originally forgot to dip it. Risky business!
