What kind of Starfish

I was at Beitels Aqurium today and seen this starfish. I was told it's not reef safe. Any idea what species this is? I tried searching google but could not find much without a specific name. I believe he said it comes from around Africa.

Fromias, look like linckias just a lot easier and slightly smaller.
