blue/green/red cyanobacteria.

You can vacuum it out with no issue. Usually a flow/nutrient issue, and can be tough to get rid of when it's everywhere. There's always red slime remover as a backup.

I use a "pseudo" RODI..but my TDS is 0.
I use GFO on both my water source and on my system.

It just recently popped up. I feed a pinch of flake food once a day.

I had that also I just left it alone and the tank cleaned it's self.

Anytime I've had issue like that I've backed off feedings siphoned out as much as I can during wc and step up the Gfo a bit

Oh forgot to mention if I have stuff on my sand I siphon sand out rinse it and return it to tank if I wanna keep it

I first suck out enough water from tank into 1 bucket to rinse sand then into a 30 gal pale I suck out all cyano algae sand detritus etc etc then swirl sand around much as I can u will be amazed how dirty water gets pump dirty water into sink then use the water I sucked out into first container to give sand few more rinses
