thanks that was Quick ,
is the Percula the one with the thick black edges because she is dark orange with thick black edge , and since she started to host my duncan coral she has been turning all black slowly as you can see , that picture is 6 month after she started hosting the duncan

im my experience, yes the true percs tend to have thicker black bands then the similar looking ocellaris, but just going off bands is not true 100% of the time. And what did the fish look like before hosting? I did notice the coloring pattern on this fish is quite bizarre.

i know , she used to be all orange a year ago but started getting black spots one dot at a time and it is about to cover her body soon in black , but i always thought that this is stings from the coral ,

before she was all orange with thick border of black around the white bars and on the tail and fins ,

Could also be a mocha clownfish (a cross between a regular ocellaris and a darwin ocellaris).
Or could be a black photon (a cross between ocellaris and percula). They will change from an orange/brown color as juvis to mostly black as an adult.
