I.D Long Island tropical?

Hi. Caught a couple of these, inch long not exceptional looking apart from bright neon green with alternating strip on dorsal. Have never seen local so thought it may be a visitor (apologies, have to zoom in!)

It's a baby tautog, actually a native

Aha, makes sense just didn't expect it to be bright green! Will release them tomorrow!

There a a lot of great tropicals but be careful the baby gamefish are under state regulations
