Hi all,
I thought I'd posted this already, but it seems like it didn't go. I have a piece of live rock that has a pile of purple mushrooms growing on it (to be fragged soon), but there seems to be a new coral growing on it as well. Here's a pic:
It's about 1/2" wide, with a central disk, and radial lines emerging from the center. Any ideas what it might be?
Also, as long as I'm bothering folks for their identification expertise - on this rock, and one other in my tank, there's a wispy white growth that looks like a cross between spiderweb and cotton candy. You can see it above and to the left - I don't want to hurt it if it's benign, but I don't recognize it as anything.
