Algae! What and How

what is this stuff that is in my two small tanks and just keeps spreading on the rocks?
How do I get rid of it?

Wow, the pics are worse then I thought. It is like a green rounded grass type of algae that grows like mad.

whoa doc...ya gotta get a better point and shoot just for a quick pic of the reef stuff. olympus got a cool one that's water proof....so you can get down and dirty...lol
check your phos.& run phos ban reactor, feed less, cut photo period and manually scrape them off with a denture brush(from any drugstore) but get someone to help siphon the stuff out at the same time.
