Is this Aiptasia

I got this rock from a fellow reefer. The rock came with polyps and a cap.
I noticed today the it had some other sort of anemones. It looks like aiptasia. Let me know what you think and if I should remove it
before it spreads.

yes.i got a clam from a fellow reefer with it on as well and ive been battling with it ever since.i kill them they come back.now they are in spots i cant reach and they keep having babies.. .its ok gives me reasons to put my hands in the tank.

What is the best way to remove or should remove whole rock?

get a syringe like the 1 salifert has with the little plastic needle.mix some kalk with ro/di water and when they are open squirt it in there mouths

You can use kalk...or even hot fresh water or white vinegar and inject them with a hypodermic needle.

i would use aiptasia x. you can use it in your reef tank with no worries..
