I am going to get my camera back from family but until they maybe someone can answer by description...
It looks like an anemone....a bit smaller than a dime....greenish tentacles with pink tips....does have a mouth in the middle..

I purchased a rbta from a fellow reefer and this was on the other side of the piece of rock. I have seen not so nice anemones which looked similar but this one actually has tiny pink tips! But for some reason something is making me throw up a red flag. Harmful???? name?????
Help if you can...I will post pics when I get my cam back.
Merry Christmas.

if so, it's another pest anemone like aptasia. the difference is, these move around pretty good.
nuke it if so.

i would use kalkwasser paste. mix up some kalkwasser in a very thick paste and turn off the flow. then squirt a glob right in the center of the pest. after it closes up on the glob, squirt another glob on top of it. (i use a syringe without the tip for this)
if you can take the rock out and scrap it off that would work too, just make sure you get all of it. i would use coral cutters maybe and take a tiny bit of the rock with it.

could be. are the tentacles pointed, or rounded like above? google "aptasia" and see if it's them. majano anemones come in assorted colors, and don't forget that anemones are photosynthetic. just because it's clear/white, doesn't necessarily mean that's it's true color. with good lighting, it will color up.
