What is this fuzz? I thought it was algea but its not green more like gray n feels like brillo

Red turf algae i heard of (asparagopsis sp), but your saying its gray. It's possibly dead. Is it spreading?

Im thinking its dead, because i have to remove it by hand and not growing back.
