red/pink rock

does anybody know what is the red/pink rock is.
it has little tube llike holes in it.

yes its a Organ Pipe Coral Tubipora musica, but i found it in a bucket with no water, i think its dead, but i saw some green fern leaves growing out of it but then my turbo snail ate it, so i dont think it will come back alive
