i did threw them out,i dunno if there any still in my tank?but it look like that the only rock i saw those and the egg..thanks.

It would be a good idea to check the underside of your live rock for the next few weeks to see if any others turn up. You definitely do not want them in your tank!

I must add that while I am not up to speed on the reproductive methods of giant flatworms, I will assume those are eggs of theirs (or it)..just wanted to say that is an AWESOME pic you captured there :)

Well it looks like a Polyclad Flatworm. I hope you killed the damn think because they eat Clams and Snails. They are nocturnal as well so catching one is not easy at all.Let us know and thanks for sharing.

That is one of the Pseudoceros sp Polyclad flat worms. They feed on Ascidains, which you have lots off. See those "green egg" looking things next to it? Those are colonial Ascidians. They are green as they have a form of zoozanthella like corals.

a couple of members mentioned earlier that they are flat worms. hate to be the bearer of more bad news, if you see one, there may be more. they are very hard to physically catch.....the body is only a mm or two thick. they will shed parts and run away when attempting to catch them.

i didn't know what was eating my clams. i lost more than 6 clams before catching one in action. i have pic. and video of one eating a clam......i posted them on rc a few yrs ago. i'll try to find the pic and video again.
i was told arrow crab eat them but never actually witnessed that.

here is how i caught mine. wait until the lights are off for a while, take a freshly chucked raw clam(from the super market) put it in a small chinese soup container and sit it an area where you have seem them. and let the waiting game begin. have a couple of drinks and surf mr with a laptop in front of the tank. if you're lucky it will slither right into the container, quickly put the lid on it, take it out and pour some venigar on that mofo!!!!

i cooked the rocks/ran the tank fallowed for 3-4 months when i was upgrading......did not see one in over 3yrs.* fingers crossed*.
