ID: Baby Mantis?

Pods,trust me I have a mantis in my reef that came with my rock and it was tiny and now this bastard is 2inch,and bright red

That is still an Amphipod There are many speices and even "families".

I am being annoying b/c I had a Mantis in this tank (I removed the mantis and whole rock), and I was afraid there was a spawning in the tank (I noticed an odd invert spawn that I could not ID properly)
