ID please

Sorry I don't have a picture yet. Before I went to work this morning I noticed something in my tank. It looked like a worm with little spikes on it and it was moving. My clown fish was hanging out with it. Does anyone know what this is?

Could be a bristleworm but without a pic thats a total guess!

worm is hiding. I cant find it no more. Prob hiding in the rock.

if it was pink w/ white bristles like on a tooth brush it's a bristle worm.

Its most likley a bristle worm. It shouldnt mess with anything epecially since you have a fowlr setup. It'll help by eating detrius and leftover food. Be careful if you touch it tho, they can irritate the hell outta you with those bristles!

If so, yes its a bristleworm, probably a hitchhiker on some of your LR, dont worry about him, I have a small army of 'em haha

no nothing like that. it was round, short, and fat. beige looking with bristles

That's a bristle worm. There's several colors and shapes of bristleworms. No big deal, a LOT of us have them. Only a problem if they get really huge and usually don't in our tanks.
