I just got into the hobby and was given this coral that was nearly dying from a guy who was getting out of the hobby. Can you please ID this one for me. I think it's a brain but not sure.
Sorry for the absolutely terrible quality on the attached pic, but here's a pic of my lobo at night. It opens up quite a bit and gets a ton of polyp extension.
Doesn't have a center mouth and the tentacles are usually hiding until night when lights are out. I have been spot feeding daily (not sure if this is too often) since this is the only animal in my tank currently. I will post a pic of from the top mostly orange in the middle.
Thanks for your all your input. I have been looking all over for something similar to it and I found that It looks like a coral brain lobo orange head. Thanks for those keen eyes.
No the tentacles are clear and just follow the circumference of the inner part almost like the shape of an oval. by the way that is a nice coral what is it?
