Take the rock out and toss it. Just get another rock. It's way better to be more safe than sorry in this situation.

Or try boiling the crap out of it.

Thanks Matthew I took the rock out right after I took that picture lol there wasn't much light to see how nasty they looked with my eyes but once I got a good picture of them I said holy S$IT and tossed it.
