Good morning!

These tubular, clear/ gray growths appeared almost overnight, I think they might be tunicates, not sure; but your help is much appreciated.

hmm... maybe they're trying to come back to life? how long have you had the rock in there? it's weird that it would just "appear" on your rock if it's been there for a while...

It's a new tank. The LR is from my LFS straight from their LR tank so it's a hitchhiker of some sort. I thought it was a type of anenome. I'll post better pics later.

I briefly saw a bristle worm in there when I checked the tank in the middle of the night. It looked like something out of Resident Evil :sgrin: !!! haha

Okay, so you post some pics and you ask what these things are. You get responces and you say, ''no it can't be''. Where do you think Zoas and Live Rock come from? The LFS? No, live rock come from the ocean as well as Zoas. They hitchhike on live rock all the time. They are bleach out because they don't get enough light or no light at the LFS's holding bins. They will open up if conditions are right in your tank. Btw welcome to MR i hope you like it here.

:google: I thought LR came from the LR fairy or an angel fish :D .

Really, from what I can tell, the LR is from the carribean. I say no, it can't be, since there are no heads like zoa's are indicated to have and the tubes are pretty clear from their base to it's head. It's why I thought an anenome or tunicate.

Thanks for the NJ welcome :kidding:
