Since our impact/pressure on the reefs of the world is in debate in this forum. Here is a list compiled by a third party web site and posted by one of the members. Please rate in your opinion how they fall into place. Aquarium fish collection falls under destructive fishing along with blast fishing.

Bill, did you mean to say list in no certain order here? If you did then I'm lost as to what you are asking for.

If you look at the report you will notice that over exploitaion as it is stated in the report. "Only countries where the per capita gross national product is less than $10,000 per year or the per captia fish comsumption is greater than 50 kilograms per year were considered." (48-49) Other references to overfishing can be found on page 13. Since we are talking about a report we must follow the definitions set forth by the authors. It seems to imply overfishing is related to consumption not to captivity.

Will not answer in this post because that is not the topic.

Bill if you are going to use the World Resource Institutes page you may want to note that collection falls under both overexplotation and destructive fishing.

Again is this to releive any impact this hobby has or are you trying to say we have a smaller role than pollution currently so we should not do what we can to lessen our impact?

Climate Change may be the biggest and I don't see which category that fits into.

I get a 404 error for that link Bill. Specifically what are we talking about with 'Overexploitation' as opposed to 'Destructive Fishing'?
