The MACO classes have been very sucessful so far but in the fall we are deviating from our usual type of course. We are having Bob Fenner teach a beginners course. I was wondering what type of promotional materials do you guys thing would get to the newbies so they can take this course. Any suggestions are appreciated and any help from you guys would be great also.

Two groups to pair up with to get the word out:

1) AMDA
2) MASNA

I cannot imagine that both would not support this effort...

Flyers and brochures, something easily printed. PDF format maybe would be easiest for all. Ask your sponsors to carry the flyers somewhere prominently.

Regards.

Stickers, banners, posters etc. Maybe provide the LFS's that agree to promote it with some customizable FAQ sheets on reef keeping. (ie with a space for their logo and info), or maybe a prize from one of the sponsors for the LFS that signs up the most people. Or maybe give a free class to an employee of the store, for meeting s certain number of signups. The handout material alone would be worth it.
