Vitz, If asked to testify that clown fish and other species were caught with cyanide in the Philippines, I can confirm this based on test results in the IMA/BFAR CDT database in my possession. If asked to confirm that marine aquarium fish being imported from the Philippine into the USA could have been caught with cyanide, I would still state the same thing. A stateside test would be helpfull for US law enforcement purposes. US officials using the Lacey Act may not need a US-based test, provided they can demonstate that the fish being exported were caught by illegal means.
