Over a month ago I proposed to the administr
ators to create a forum for conservation and other related and interesting news. They thought it was a good idea; however it means removing an existing forum as there is only room for a certain number of these categories. The idea was rejected or possibly shelved.
You can blame me (as I post nearly all of these types of things) if there are stories you find uninteresting or irrelevant. But it is fairly easy to explain how most of these topics have connections, or at least interest to this type of community. By country, most of the fish for the marine aquarium trade still come from the Philippines. Issues like overpopulation have great relevance because it is the fundamental basis for the decline of these coral reefs.
I won't post so many within a short time, as I have recently done. I was in the mood to hunt down these types of stories and I found a bunch of them all at once.
I will continue to post these types of articles here at my own discretion until administrators or moderators ask me to stop.
