Since Tim is a wholesaler and not a web page designer, let's give him a little slack. He has already answered your orginal query (concering the 95% figure), and I think that is good enough for now. I'm sure his time is spent tending to his fish room and not on his computer adjusting old web pages. I allowed the correspondence to be posted based on the tenuous assumption of allowing both sides to presnt their stories. Let's close this chapter and move on. I really see no reson to continue to bring Tim or his company into the discussion, since we now know where his data stemmed from. Better to discuss the source and not a third party.

I'm confused about "Tellier"... Ad, you are usually too astute to make such a repeated error. In one post, you referred to Tim Tessier as "Tim Tellier" and now again in your most recent post in the thread, you repeat "Tellier" several times.

Is this a Freudian slip, or are there 2 different people, "Tessier" and "Tellier"?

Given your link to a French page in another thread, I think you are fluent enough in French to know the difference.

You really have me puzzled... posting private communications... I daresay you wouldn't want me to post your private communications with me, would you, eh?

I haven't been shipping fishies the past 20 hours; but I did not catch much shut-eye last night.
So I did notice that my fingers did get away on me, without paying much attention to my brain.
Likely IT - that brain - was on auto-ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs.
Either that or the CBC had somethjing in the news abt a Canuck called Tellier... who knows?
I don't for apparently I snoozed thru it all! 8O

I would your respect your request for anonymity a lot more if you weren't "calling out" people by name. In fairness to Mary, as you probably already know, she posted the url at my request. I read the links too. Tim's claims of 95% are what bothers you most in what you've read?

Of all the fraudulent info on the web you "call out" Seacare? Who it seems to me is one of the good guys. In other words someone actually importing strictly net caught fish (into our country). Peter IMA has posted he believes that the number is closer to 80%. While I agree that misinformation should be corrected I personally don't see thie big deal here. Would any number be irrefutable? If you are trying to say something please say it. You also comment on the fact that he sells to BigChain that also sells "cyanide fish without hang ups". You do know that net caught fish are relatively hard to find, right? Would it be better for Tim to go out of business and stop bringing in net caught fish? I should state that I have never spoken or dealt with Tim Tessier.

IMO the fact you will not disclose who you are and have singled out one business does make your intentions questionable.

at least not w/out the permission of the party whos email your posting

Vitz, you raise a valid point. Here's the scoop: Tim Tellier took the conversation to this board, without adequately quoting. I have taken no offense, but since the discussion was pushed on the public stage, that's where I replied. And as you can see, with great care.

I don't think you will see me initiate such a procedure. Also there is no need for *you* to worry Vitz. No offense, but not a great possibilty of a fruitful dialog.

Too bad.... you sound like a an intelligent and educated person... but you are inspiring lots of doubt and skepticism, and could hamper the course of constructive discussion here.

As to "PRIVATE" that was your interpretation... You introduced that suggestion here!
