Hallelujah! You SO hit the nail on the head, instigator! I thought the pen they had him in up in Oregon was pretty righteous digs for an essentially captive raised killer whale (now "killed" whale). Poor Keiko.
Btw, I just read last week in the Union-Trib that the fires from October were only JUST being fully contained! 8O
I wonder how many wild whales could have been helped if the money was put into wild preservation, instead of moving this pet whale all over the world for years, just to have it die of a natural malady?
Just shows sometimes we humans let our "good intentions" do more harm than good.
