They needed to have written "these tested fish" instead of "the fish " It is quite misleading. And many websites quote it as meaning all the fish headed for export.............. Second , How many species of Damsel are included in the data? .......{111 }....with how many sampled fish 1800+? thats 16 fish per species or 16 fish of any certain type. Next how many years of testing do these 16 fish represent? four? thats four damsels of any one type per year........so yes FIVE was a wrong answer

Really?

How, exactly, is it "Wrong"?

How many damselfish do you think were exported on a yearly basis?
Make up a figure if you need to, for the purposes of this discussion, I really don't care as IT WILL NOT MATTER.

Lets say the data 45% since thats the percent of all damsels compared to all species of fish imported . That translates into 45% of about five million fish for each the years in the study{there were more total fish being imported in the 1090s then today from PI ....another reason why less cyanide fish are being exported tody then in back when Pi had a monopoly on fish . But keep in mind that five or six species of damsels Blue , domino , three stripe, sergent major, green {actually chromis } and blue and yellow ......are responsible for the about 80% of the 2.3 million damsels! and those six fish make up 40 % of all fish imported.!......{using Peters numbers}{I think the numbers are even greater}I am not sure if Peter used Clownfish under Damsels or not ?
