If memory serves you have to be a member to exhibit at the trade shows. Thus it explains why most members are on the Left Coast. If membership has any priviledges beyond that it's news to me.

It appears to be just another 'push any animals to the public at any cost' type of organization without any bounds.
It appears to me that a better organization would be www.pijaccanada.com (click on the English version on the left and under policies)
At least they have the balls to draw up a list of prohibited species.
The American arm of that organization www.pijac.org doesnt have any bounds either. Having said that I coudn't access the verboten areas.
Pijac informs its members about pending legislation to bring the pet trade in line but does nothing to ensure that the legislation never hits the order paper.
