so it seems as if a non-profit agency is looking to force the private sector to contribute to the funding of its activities by legislating a mandate that they do so, in order to stay in operation, and to carry out their 'duties' as proposed in mamti
any thoughts as to whether or not this is legal, or will hold water in congress ?
can a non profit get involved in political decision making legally, as well ? i thought was that was very very big taboo mojo-ngo's are supposed to remain ABSOLUTELY apolitical, iirc
(or...)
"since when does a NON GOVERMENTAL AGENCY become a maker of govt policy, or a maker of the conditions on a gov't policy ?"
since when does the gov't direct funding directly through private enterprise to a non-governmental org via conditions set forth by that org to the gov't?....
grrrrrr i'm so confused.... :?
